I’m a knitter and a crocheter. Keeping my hands busy is important, but making something keeps my mind busy and soothes me after a busy day.
Though I can be somewhat of a yarn snob, I’m obsessed with Lion Brand Yarn. They are a phenomenal product with a great mission, they constantly work on charity knitting endeavors (Hello-who else is making a hat for #hatnothate?!), and they create products that are beautiful and affordable.
Recently, I stumbled across the comfy cotton blend when looking for yarn to make a new market/beach bag. I became obsessed. (Seriously, obsessed. I have even gifted skeins!)
I created this shawl (I still haven’t made that beach bag) for the weather we’re in now…not really warm, but not really cold. I love the little pop of color this gives over tees and tanks. You can easily adjust the pattern to make it larger or smaller AND you’ll have enough yarn letf over for a dish cloth or two.
